Why Must I Work Today?!

Please excuse my whinging: It's Monday, President's Day, and I'm at work.  Why must I work today?  Let's honor our Presidents (by taking off work) in observance.  Why, President Abraham Lincoln was from Illinois - that should be enough to get me out of work on this momentous day.  He apparently even saved us from vampires too.
