New Year's Resolutions for 2015
Of course, I also want to blog more. I hope to revive my travelogue series, clean up my backlog of photos, and be more confident in sharing my book reviews, life events, art, and photos with the internet. I want to deal with less self-doubt, less introversion, and less panic when I click the "publish" button. I want to post without feeling down when I don't get many visitors, or feeling discouraged when I don't get feedback and all I hear are crickets. Here's to a happier, stronger, more confident year!
Hear, hear. (Or is it here, here? I'm never sure.) I could add a great big ditto to most of your list and claim it as my own.
ReplyDeleteThey're some great resolutions Nahree!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kayleigh! Though I want to plunge into my TBR pile, I'm not as enthusiastic about running all those miles :P
ReplyDeleteEmily, never knew which one to use either, so I normally go with "hear hear!" Any goals you're looking forward to accomplishing this year?
ReplyDeleteNot getting any feedback isn't a sign that people aren't enjoying stuff I don't think... I have lurked for years on some blogs and never once posted a comment, even though I really enjoy them, because I don't feel like I have anything to say... There should be some kind of button that you can press to express that!
ReplyDeleteI could do with following some of your resolutions, particularly more optimism and less worrying!
Yes! Some kind of "I've read it and enjoyed it but have nothing to add" button!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate lurkers, though I do wish for affirmation sometimes. Maybe it's the influence of spending too much time on social media and subsisting on "likes"! Hope this year is full of optimism and happiness for all :)
ReplyDeleteKayleigh - a long long long time ago, I once had a xanga blog (do people these days even know what that is?!). Anyway, people could click on a button giving 'props' ("props! right on!" oh geez I feel so old) for a blog entry just to say hi or to agree with something even if they didn't leave a comment. If only blogspot had something like that...
