Mobile Phones

I work for a global electronics/technology company and have been working for this company for 3 years.  Seems like a long time to me, but I have co-workers who have been here more than 10 times that long!  One of the ladies has been with the company for 40 years and since the invention of the cordless phone, has  personally seen to every model of mobiles that have passed through our production doors.

"Funny how everyone wants one of those smartphones," she said, nodding to mine during our lunch break.  "It seems like only yesterday that they were humongous, and then everyone wanted the teeniest one money could buy - which is very silly - I mean, don't you want your money's worth? - and now everyone's back to the big phones again.  Except they seem even bigger."

  2. *pats on head* There there... I had a trusty navy blue nokia one that sounded like my alarm clock every time it rang.  It's in the pile, lower left.  How old were you when you first got one?  I was 16 and felt sooooo cool.

  3.  I had that same nokia (except mine was silver and I got it in Italy) as well as the silver one just above that.

When I was 16 we had a family cell phone that was roughly the size of a pair of sunglasses (we kept it in a sunglasses case) and whoever wouldn't be near a phone would take it. I got my own cell phone a couple years later
