IF - Hurry!

This week's theme is [[Hurry!]] at Illustration Friday.  Remember those school days when you were in such a hurry that you ignored all the trivial things your mother nagged you about?  Brush your hair! Zip up that backpack! Tie your shoes!  You rushed day to day, always five minutes late, when one fateful day you: bumped into someone you were trying to impress and you looked like crap!  Stuff fell out of your backpack!  You tripped over your shoelaces!  {Sigh}, mother's always right.

  2. Just this week little was close to being late school and as she leapt like a gazelle out of the car...only then was when I noticed her pants were on backwards! >.<;

  3. Thanks!  Yes, it's always those precious notes you wish you had taken 3 more seconds to properly shove into a folder.

  6. Great interpretation! I remember those days. I love the schwung in your drawing. The ongoing line of the hair into the band of the bag. You can see the haste and the hurry.

  17. Hey Carol!  Yep - this drawing might as well have described just yesterday. I'm addicted to that snooze button in the mornings!
