I'm signing up last minute (but hey, still early) for the Month-Long #weirdathon!

Yes, I'm taking this challenge VERY LITERALLY.

"In Other Weird News" aka full context:

I kept hearing about this #weirdathon that all the cool kids were doing (Bex, I'm looking at you!) and thought that I couldn't possibly sign up for another readathon this month. HOWEVER, I possibly could. Because I'm on quite the reading kick!

Anyway. I posted a random book haul photo on instagram, and this nice girl liked my photo. I went to her instagram and just OGLED all the beautiful shelfies and #bookstagrams and started up a conversation.  This conversation led to many revelations:

• this girl has an eye for beauty and her shelfies are fantastic, so you should follow her immediately.
• she's a fellow Minnesotan!
• she's hosting the very #weirdathon that I was hoping to join! GASP.
• again, she's a fellow Minnesotan book blogger, which is like finding a unicorn at the end of a rainbow on a leap day. Or I'm looking in the wrong places.
