My mom is at work, dad's busy with a project, one of my sisters is at work and the other one just left for a retreat, so there is no one to bother anymore, drats. After 2 back to back episodes of Barefoot Contessa, I got off my lazy butt and headed to the library, feeling very bored and very hungry. I came back with THESE awesome books because all you readers out there sang praises upon praises about these specific books last year. I intend to wither away because I will apparently forget to eat or breathe or function like a normal human being whilst reading these
magnum opuses magna opera (says wiki, plural) of literature. Looking forward to it!
OH MAN those are some good books. Super loved Attachments, and I've seen the BBC miniseries thing of Fingersmith and that was also great. I really want to read it and I REALLY want to read Sisters Brothers, so good one getting on that. What a way to start the 2013 reading! Things are looking good.
ReplyDeleteOf the three, I'm really looking forward to Attachments the most since I love funny, lighthearted books. I didn't know there was a BBC adaptation of Fingersmith! I'll be sure to check it out when I'm done reading.
ReplyDeleteI'm still SO EXCITED about all of these. I also have zero idea in what order you should read them, but know that Attachments is super-light and basically like reading a romantic comedy.
ReplyDeleteOf those three, I'll have to start with Attachments then to ease into my atrophied reading muscles :)
