The Woman in White Readalong: Intro Post

I am going to be very honest - I know NOTHING about Wilkie Collins. I had to look him on wikipedia and was immediately drawn to his giant forehead, so I drew something instead. Maybe I should hold off on reading about him so I don't shun him for having a mistress or trying to find similarities between him and Dickens. I also have no idea what this book is about, but there was only 1 copy left in the library and so it is a sign that I absolutely must join this readalong and offer my $0.02 weekly.

ReplyDeleteI just started the preface. And since this week's Holy Week, I feel like reading should start right now or it shall not be done for Monday and OH HOW EMBARRASSING if I do not do the reading when I'm hosting.
Ah, Holy Week. I'm doing massive reading and reflecting, but I will do my best to post on time. Also, I'm looking at this drawing the next day and I realize that I didn't draw his forehead nearly as big as it should be.
